Stanwell Park lies near the southern exit of Australias first reserve, The Royal National Park. Stanwell's cliffs create consistent thermals that are popular with hangliders and parasailers who launch near where this photo was taken and land on the wide beach below. So good are the wind conditions here that one of the worlds first unpowered flights took place here.
