Vila is the capital of Vanuatu, a tropical island
chain near New Caledonia. It is a favourite stop for crusie ships, the one in
this photo.. taken from a helicopter... is the Pacific Sky. Vanuatu is famous
for its scubadiving, including, funnily enough, an ocean liner that hit a mine
during the war.
