The Great Ocean Road winds along 400 kilometres of the
south-west coast of Victoria, and is regarded as one of the world's most scenic
drives. The Twelve Apostles are a spectacular rock formation created by wind and
sea erosion over thousands of years, a showcase for the power of the Southern
Ocean. Waves along this coastline are respected by surfers and fishermen alike,
with seven metre high swells not uncommon. Google
