Brighton Le Sands is a popular restaurant strip on the west coast of Botany Bay, a suburb of Sydney close to the international airport. The above picture was taken during a fierce lightning storm that was followed by hail storm that blanketed the streets in ice and had tourists tobogganing at Bondi the next morning.
